15. perbedaan direct speech dan reported speech
Direct speech (kalimat langsung), biasanya ditandai dengan tanda kutip (sama spt dlm penggunaan dlm bhs Indonesia). Reported speech, disebut juga indirect speech (kalimat tdk langsung). Perbedaan mendasar hny terletak pd tanda kutip. Penggunaan direct ke indirect, dlm bhs inggris mengalami perubahan tense. Contoh: bila simple present tense mjd past tense. (D = he said, "i always wake up early." > he said that he always woke up early)Direct speech : kalimat langsung
Indirect speech : Kalimat tidak langsung
